lifesabeach123 Posted August 16, 2012 #2 Share Posted August 16, 2012 Is there any beach either public or private near LaRomana port that you can go for the day and have toys like trampoline or ice burgs to climb??? Parasailing??? Jet skis??? Yes, Dreams La Romana resort has a water trampoline for guests use (when it is working). It's inside their private roped off swim zone next to Bayahibe's public beach. There are no security guards in the water ;-) You can buy a day pass to that hotel to use their facilities. https://www.facebook.com/DreamsLaRomana Cadaques Caribe (a boutique hotel and condo residence) has a fantastic water park in their pool area AND a bunch of ice burgs and water toys in their sea area. They are located in the direction of Dominicus beach 5 minutes drive from Bayahibe, right at the end of the main road with all the resorts on it. Contact them for price of day pass. https://www.facebook.com/cadaquescariberesort http://www.cadaquescariberesort.com Phone: (809) 237-2000 email: reservations@cadaquescaribe.com There are no jet skis as they are banned on most of the island (too many accidents). There is a boat that does parasailing, but it's not always around - if you go to Dreams ask at the watersports center. Dreams also has free kayaks, hobbiecats, peddalos, and windsurfers for use. There is also a private company doing Stand Up Paddle Boarding in Bayahibe http://www.bayahibesup.com https://www.facebook.com/bayahibesup Have fun! lifesabeach123 Posted January 17, 2013 #6 Share Posted January 17, 2013 jkjmt, Did you ever hear anything about day passes to this resort? Sorry can't edit my older posts: Unfortunately Cadaques Caribe do not offer day passes. Facilities are only for their guests and condo owners. Dreams La Romana day pass is $US60 per person (all year round) includes food and drink and use of facilities and some watersports but not transport. Btw Just found out the water trampoline at Dreams is only for children.
