Any time to shop after Seavis tour?

Hi there! We will be going to the DR on Carnival and are seriously looking at the Seavis Carnival tour. My question is do you have any time to go to the grocery store that is near the port after the tour? I have heard it is the best place to purchase vanilla, rum and coffee...

Any feedback would be appreciated..
