Checking for price drops

We've got our March 2013 cruise booked and I'm just wondering if there is an easier way to check for price drops other than going through and making a "pretend" booking to check the price. Last April I used http://www.carnival.com/BookingEngine/FareViewer/ but I get an error when going to that page that says "site is currently not available". How do YOU check for price drops??

Google Cruise using "fish" at end together. Thats what I used..But not to watch my drop rather to see it go sky to date...LOL Glad I booked ES way out 3/12 cruise. CF also has a elert they will sent direct to your e mail when price changes.

Try http://www.carnival.com/BookingEngine/FareViewer# with the pound sign on the end. I used it this morning and got a big drop on a 2014 cruise!

Dang .... still no luck in using the link with the "#" sign at the end of the link. I got the same error message. I even cut and pasted the link with the same result. *Sigh* Guess I'll just have to keep "booking" a cruise to see if the price drops.

 

Any other suggestions????

Once you have reached the price screen in your fake booking, just save that in your favorites/bookmarks. It refreshes to the current price each time you click back on it.

If you have maked your final payment and the price drop can you still get a ajustment?

I like to go through the booking process to see what cabin are still available and maybe change.

I've tried the fareviewer, but it's not completely accurate because it doesn't give you the category - so I still end up having to do a fake booking. Also, we qualify for military and it doesn't check that. Am I doing something wrong?
