Insurance

We are leaving on the Elation in less than 2 weeks and are thinking of buying insurance. Mainly just the medical as we are driving to Galveston and don't need the air part of it. Is it to late to get insurance? The DW has read that you need to buy the insurance when you purchase your tickets. Our current insurance will reimburse for medical, but we are looking to avoid the big up front out of pocket exspense should something happen. Who would you recomend?

You can still buy. It just won't cover "pre-existing conditions". That's probably what your wife was thinking of. But it will cover things lke luggage problems/injury aboard ship/trip delays. The site above has policies from dozens of companies. Compare.
