Questions about Hilton in Galveston

We just booked the Hilton in Galveston. Was it a good choice? Is there anything close to the hotel? How is the cruise parking and transportation? Are the rooms clean? Any advice appreciated!!! Thanks

It's a very nice hotel on the Seawall next door to the Rain Forest Cafe and a convention center. Landry's Inc. who also own the San Luis resort own the Hilton.

There is a large Kroger Food Store within a block for last minute supplies. Turn right on 53rd St. go to Seawall (you cain't miss it or you'll be in the Gulf), turn right and you are there.
