Hampton Inn Cocoa Beach/Fly, Snooze, and Cruise??

We want to fly into Orlando the day before our Freedom cruise, and fly out the day after. The pkg at the Hampton Inn says pick-up at the airport to hotel, then shuttle to port the day of the cruise. It seems that you also get transport back to the airport when you return.

Now, it is for 1 person. for only $45 more it can be for 2.

I am thinking of taking their transport back to airport, then staying at an airport hotel the night after the cruise as airfare goes down on a Monday.

Has anyone done this???

 

Seems like it would be a good deal, especially with the airport tranfers.

If you need a recommendation for an Orlando airport hotel, the LaQuinta North Orlando airport is very nice. They offer airport shuttle and a free breakfast. They are also located right next to a park area and several restaurants and shops within walking distance.

 

You may want to price the hotel rate out and then add in a shuttle such as TravelLynx for transport to and from the port. It may work out better as far as rates.

BTW: The hotel is very clean and has won a Trip Advisor award. The rates are pretty decent too. It's less than 5 min from the airport.

still may try this to get back after cruise-shuttle appears to be $200 r/t for 2 of us. we do not want the large bus which would probably bring cost down.
