If I remember correctly, years ago, this window served Asian food, but they haven't used it for anything in a while. I guess potential for future food!

I, like you, don't miss the Mongolian Wok (lines were always TOO long). However, I do miss ships having a dedicated Asian corner. I loved being ale to get some Asian food every day for lunch if I wanted.

 

Loving the review! We sailed on the Conquest the week of Christmas and really enjoyed looking at the pics on your website before we went.

Speaking of lines...how is the line for breakfast burritos, compared to the often-long omelet lines?

 

I'll throw in my two cents on this. When we were on the Conquest a couple of weeks ago, the lines were never bad at Blue Iguana Cantina. When there was a line it moved pretty quickly. And the burritos were VERY filling. I was a big fan of the tacos!

 

You mentioned omelette Lines..I never found them to be long on this sailing. It seemed like they had maybe 7-8 different stations so people were spread out among all those. It was a nice change!

As I stated in another post, we are taking the Conquest Nov 16, the repositioning cruise. We have only sailed on the Pride before. I was looking at the deck plans and it looks like on a couple of the main decks you can not get from one end of the ship to the other. You have to go to another deck, go past the place you want to go, then go up or down and backtrack to where you want to go. Is that correct? It seems kind of inconvenient.

That is correct. All Conquest ships have this issue (one reason we prefer Spirit or Dream class to Conquest class). Decks 3 and 4 don't give you a straight shot. You must go up to 5 or down to 2 to get from certain parts of the ship to others.

So much for booking a Foward interior cabin on the lido for next week hoping to walk out on the bridge whenever we wanted.:mad:

 

Last time we were on Lido, we thought we'd spend a lot of time out there, and we only ended up doing it once. We'll be on the Lido on Conquest again in two weeks, and I'm excited about being so close to all the new bars and eateries :-)

I rarely encountered any lines anywhere. I did see one the last day for fish and chips that I would not have been pleased with.

 

Most of the ones I did see were for impatient people lining up before a venue even opened. What do you expect?

Not sure how much of an issue it is. You can walk the whole way on any deck with cabins. The kitchen is between the two main dining rooms on decks 3 and 4.

Well for example our 12 yo daughter is going to Circle C and that is on one of the decks that you can't get there directly from our cabin. I prefer to walk one end to the other on "public" decks, not stateroom decks so it will be a little inconvenient in my mind anyway :) Oh well, just need to think of it as a little more exercise I guess.
