Will WiFi work in cabin on Paradise

Wanted to take our laptop to access internet to check with family and kids back home. Will we be able to access the internet in our aft upper deck cabin or is there a specific location for internet access?

 

I have seen other threads that the carnival site is free to use. So if we get on the carnival website during our cruise on our laptop those minutes do not count against our internet minutes purchased?
