hopefully we will be doing a 1/2 day excusion. which leaves us for some shopping!! is there shopping right near the ship (we'll be on the aos).what is the HOT item to buy in antiqua anyway? last question how are the liquor prices.

Yes there is loads of shopping as soon as you get off the boat - Hertitage Quay shopping centre is right there - lots of Duty Free Shops - but also worth a visit just a few minutes along the dock is Redcliffe Quay - lovely palm fringed old shopping district - all the poerties were renovated a few years ago and really colourful. My favourite shop is a household and gift shop called St Tropez Caraibes - gorgeous , but not too expensive - its next to Cafe Napoleon - great for lunch. For a few more ideas there is a shpping category on [url="http://www.antiguanice.com"]www.antiguanice.com[/url] with maps. We used this to help with the main shopping districts.

So you can do some good shopping as well as 1/2 of some fun snokeling? Are most of the shops really close to where the ship is docked? Linda

When you come off the ship, you walk right into Heritage Quay; Redcliffe Quay is next door.
