Forward, Aft or Midship?

On Allure/Oasis, the best place to be is near either elevator lobby, which makes getting around this huge ship more efficient and easier. (My one complaint about Allure was that it was almost overwhelming to get around, especially for someone who is not in tip-top physical condition. We were exhausted from all the walking!) The aft elevator is a slightly more advantageous than the front elevators because more places are accessible from the aft.

We were on deck 10, and usually used Central Park on deck 8 as our "walk-through" to get from the back of the ship to the front...much better than walking through a passageway of endless cabins!

We have a forward cabin for our Feb 24th sailing, very close to elevators on Deck 7. Good tip about using Deck 8 for the walk-through! It is actually kind of comforting to know that we will get a good walking workout...offsets some of the dining pleasures!

It's a funny thing, being a Pooh-sized person, but I always come home from a cruise or Disney vacation a few pounds lighter despite the food. Walking instead of sitting in an office all day is wonderful.
