Isla Verde to Old San Juan to the Rainforest

Does anyone know the distance from Isla Verde to Old San Juan/San Juan? How much would it cost to get there via taxi? Is there a bus that goes between the two?

 

Also, what is the best way to get to the Rainforest from Isla Verde? Would you recommend a rental car?

 

Finally, on the Wyndham website it said that it would cost approximately 8 dollars to get from the airport to El San Juan Hotel and Casino. Do you know if this is per person or per taxi?

Taxi fares in the Old San Juan Isla Verde area are fixed. OSJ-Isla Verde 15.00, extra fare for luggage. Isla Verde- airport 8.00. Depending on traffic taxi between Isla Verde hotel and OSJ should be 15 -20 min max. I wouldn't suggest taxi to El Yunque, you will get there it will cost your more than 50.00 each way and it will be hard if not impossible to get a taxi to Isla Verde. You can rent a car, more or less 35.00 p/day and easily drive to El Yunque. In the hotel the concierge can mark all necessary exits. From Isla Verde, el Yunque is a 50 min. drive. Hope this helps.
