Current Taxi Cost - Los Angeles Port to Lax

I believe there is a board at the taxi rank which states fares to LAX Airport (or there was according to an October '12 post). Can anyone confirm this, what the price is and does one presume it's a fixed cost?

 

Also are there shuttle options from LA Port (travelling Princess) to LAX or do you need to prebook? Any info most welcome.
