emalemi Posted June 7, 2005 #1 Share Posted June 7, 2005 Has anyone ever taken this tour by Mullowney's? Can you comment on your experience? We have a group cruising there in a few weeks, and some are considering this tour. They will provide a shuttle service from where we dock in Saint John's to their boat. Here's a link: http://www.puffinswhales.com/schedule.htm Thanks for any help!

emalemi Posted June 8, 2005 Author #5 Share Posted June 8, 2005 No problem. if you have any furthuer questions feel free to message me Well, since you offered...LOL! Our group will be there for the day on June 29th. There's 30 of us-all ages. Some would like to do a tour of some kind that would be a few hours at most to allow time for other things, but not sure what. others would like to go on their own to explore, but wondering where? Any suggestions would be great! Thanks a lot. (I'm assuming by your name you live there)
SJNB Posted June 8, 2005 #6 Share Posted June 8, 2005 Here are some links of things to see and do in the city, as well as general information. Tourism Saint John http://www.tourismsaintjohn.com/ City of Saint John http://www.saintjohn.ca/ Cruise Saint John http://www.cruisesaintjohn.com/Cherry Cherry Brook Zoo http://www.cherrybrookzoo.com/ **New Brunswick Museum http://www.nbm-mnb.ca/ **Trinity Royal-Historic Area http://www.trinityroyal.com/ **Loylast House http://www.saintjohn.nbcc.nb.ca/host/loyalisthouse/ Reversing Falls http://www.tourismsaintjohn.com/fil...n=10&screen=194 Reversing Falls Jet Boat Rides http://www.jetboatrides.com/ Carleton Martello Tower http://www.pc.gc.ca/lhn-nhs/nb/carleton/index_e.asp **Old City Market http://www.tourismsaintjohn.com/fil...n=13&screen=180 **Harbour Passage http://www.sjwaterfront.com/english...ur_passsage.asp The cruise lines offer a bus tour that is 2.5hrs and covers all the major points of saint john. you are not on the bus the entire time, you get off to explore areas. I believe it is $35 US to book through the cruise line. There is a similar tour offered once you get off the boat and it is only $15. If you want to be sure you have a spot I would book through the cruise line or venture down Water street till you get to the tour sign and wait for the bus. It is on a first come first serve basis. it can probably take 35-40 people. This one runs once in the morning and once in the afternoon. the sites I makes with ** are located a short walk from the ship. the Reversing Falls can be reached by harbour passage, and would probably be a 30-40 min walk. if you need anything else feel free.
