Fred Olsen / Royal Caribbean Service charge

Just reading on these boards all the different cruise lines pricing on service charge

 

It stated Fred Olsen was £4 per person per day

 

I will be paying almost double that with Royal in April

 

Just wondering why the huge difference .Have never cruised with Fred Olsen

but they do seem to have a faithful following

 

I think I will be staying loyal to Royal Caribbean :), but why such a difference?

How about just something comparable.

long time since my cruise on Fred Olsen so could not say but the product itself is not really comparable.

they are smaller ships and do not have the whistles and bells that RCI have.
