Fantasy April cruise....do they have vegan options?

I am new to CCL and wondered if they have good vegan options. Is it better to stick with buffets/sushi/bars rather than MDR? Looking at April 16th cruise.

I'm not sure about vegan dishes but they do have vegetarian dishes in the MDR. You can probably speak with the Maitre' D on the 1st day and tell him/her your situation.

I would contact Carnuval directly, Prior to boarding and speak with somebody about dietary needs. They are very accommodating for diet restrictions (gluten free etc.) but I believe they need more notice than just the first day of cruise.

 

As said plenty of vegetarian options easily available, my wife is a vegetarian, but vegan is hardly the same.

My niece is vegan, no wheat and no dairy and in her first cruise on the Magic last year she wrote down her diet, introduced herseld and gave it to the Maitre 'D on the first day and her meals were made special every night - she said they were wonderful! There were also good choices in the buffet and Mongolian Grill - she always comes prepared with her own snacks just in case, but was so impressed and satisfied with all her meals.
