How soon should I expect documents?

Recommended Posts

In general cruise docs are sent about 3-4 weeks prior to sailing. If you booked directly through the cruiseline it will come sooner. If you booked through a TA the docs need to go the TA first who will then send it to you.

For example, I booked my upcoming 7/3 cruise on Serenade through a TA. The TA called me yesterday (6/8) to tell me that my cruise docs just arrived and that they would be sending them on to me right away.

Hi Maureen B... You should receive your documents anytime from 2 to 4 weeks prior to your cruise. If you booked with a TA, they will receive them first, then forward onto you. If you booked with RCI, they will send them directly to you. But either way, the time period will vary.
