j0hmarie Posted May 13, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 13, 2013 Hi all, What is the best form of transportation to get from the cruise port to the restaurant and back? Thanks!

AngloinProvence Posted May 27, 2013 #3 Share Posted May 27, 2013 This information is not correct: Chez Fonfon is not on the Old Port, but in the Vallon des Auffes, which is a bus or taxi ride on from the Old Port, but not within walking distance. More details: http://www.marseille-provence.info/marseille-marseilles/what-to-see-tourist-attractions/36-marseille-le-vallon-des-auffes.html If you are coming from the cruise terminal, it's a bit of a trek as you have to get (1) from the terminal to the Old Port and (2) from the Old Port to the Vallon des Auffes. And then back again, of course. If time is tight, there are a couple of spots on the Old Port itself for bouillabaisse: the Miramar and Chez Madie les Galinettes. travelrabbitcrusing Posted August 21, 2014 #5 Share Posted August 21, 2014 we had bouillabaisse at Chez Loury near old port, very nice place, not too big Hi Kurgan, I'm wondering ... if one person from the group orders bouilabaisse, does that mean all the others have to order it? Because I see the price for bouilabaisse per person is over 40 euros, I'm wondering if it's like a buffet style .... so they won't allow for just one order .... Or this is not the case. You can very well just order one bouilabaisse and have the other people order something different? Many thanks!
