vc562894 Posted May 27, 2013 Author #76 Share Posted May 27, 2013 After our snorkel at the shipwreck we headed to the beach where we anchored in the water and we were able to jump off the catamaran and explore in the water. The crew opened lunch at this point too! Lunch included flying fish (their local item), macaroni pie (homemade mac and cheese), chicken, and salad. Everything was piping hot and delicious! We all tried the flying fish and it was good. I thought it was similar to flounder. After we had lunch, we stayed at the beach about 30mins-1hour. We had fun jumping off the boat and relaxing in the calm, cool water! Then we headed back! When the day was over, none of us wanted to get off. We had a fantastic time with Nick, Chad and Mike. Bolador Tours got an A+ in our books!
vc562894 Posted May 27, 2013 Author #77 Share Posted May 27, 2013 After we got back to the pier, we did some shopping and bought Cockspur Rum Punch after GAPearl's review! There are a lot of shops for liquor and souvenirs right at the port. We got back on board, went back to our rooms to nap, shower and get ready for dinner that night. We went to dinner (sorry I didnt take a SINGLE dinner plate this cruise which is NOT like me at all). Tonight was the deck party so we headed up there to dance and enjoy the sail away from Barbados. Of course they played the typical songs: Wobble, Cupid Shuffle, etc. Then they played this Latin song and it must be popular in San Juan because many folks knew the song and BOY can they dance! I sat in aw as they moved and danced with their partners. I wish I would of asked to learn it. It was fantastic. After the dance party, they had the Mexican Buffet open. They had a lot of options including: tacos, tortilla chips, guacamole, salsa, build your own tacos, etc. After the buffet, we headed to the casino and the guys played and actually won! As we headed back to our room for the night, I passed this painting for about 100th time this cruise. I wish they sold these in smaller scales because I most definitely would of bought it! We finally got into bed and were greeted by this cute bunny.

kansascruiser1 Posted May 27, 2013 #79 Share Posted May 27, 2013 Says Ready to Drink! Meaning all juices, alcohol and even a straw is provided for you :) I can't remember, hate to ask again, didn't GAPearl buy these and take onto the ship or did she drink them only in San Juan? Question is, can you buy these in San Juan and board the ship with them? Carry on, or pack in suitcase? Thanks!

I don't remember what GApearl did but we bought these in San Juan and carried them on in our carry on bags. We drank them on the ship and brought them to drink in St. John. Leo's Rule Posted June 3, 2013 #84 Share Posted June 3, 2013 You had to be on board by 9:30pm. The muster drill is at 9:30; you have to be on the ship by 8:30.
