Honolulu Taxi Rates

We're flying into Honolulu on Friday and I plan to take a taxi or a limo to our hotel in Waikiki. Anyone have recent experience with the fares, we'll have 4 in our party and 2 bags each with a set of golf clubs. My guess is that a taxi is probably less hassle than a rental car in Honolulu/Waikiki. Any information or opinions will be greatly appreciated.

We just returned from Hawaii two days ago. It cost us $30.65 from the airport to Hilton Hawaiian Village on Waikiki beach. There was two of us with three bags.

I refer you to the shuttle thread - might be cheaper/better options than taking a taxi.
