I hear that the night stop in San Juan is a waste of time. Our ship docks there from 5pm to 12am, any feed back would be appreciated Gia

It all depends on what interests you. You can do the bio bay tour, night legend tour, evening horseback riding, walk around Historic Old San Juan, Dine at the Parrot Club or Dragon Fly, check out Senor Frogs and many other options.

thers is also a sunset walk which you could do on your own if your a bit familiar with the lay out. We've been to san juan a few times. if you like a bit of night life, you can catch a taxi to the condado area (5 miles from the pier). Here there are restaurants from sleek, to open air ones where you can watch the ocean or all the activity on the strip there. People dressed in jogging shorts to Armani suits. Also several causual clubs right on the ocean there, at most you can see all this in a one mile walk in the condado.

we're going to do the bio bay. give it a google and see if you have an interest. (bioilluminescent bay san juan) $65 per pp with transfer via private, and abou $75pp via ship.

The legends of Puerto Rico is a great nightime walking tour. We did the tour last year with Debbie and were very impressed with her knowledge and all the interesting facts about Puerto Rico. Check it out here on a search of "legends of Puerto Rico" or on a websearch for it. She has a website with alot of information posted about her different tour options and times.

Good Luck, RicknLynn

I would like to think anytime you stop at a port is not a waste of time. We were in San Juan from around 4pm-midnight. Some of the shops in Old San Juan will still be open and they are interesting. Of course there are a lot of restaurants and bars in that area as well as casinos.
