Switching from 13234 to 14048, worth it?

Recommended Posts

These cabins are the same category M2 but I was thinking about switching because of the closer proximity to the kid's areas. The only thing I'm concerned about is excessive noise from the nearby restaurant or kid's area. Of course, I'm bringing my kid but that doesn't mean I want to hear everyone else's all night and day. :p

What do you think?

Also, how can you tell if the balcony is covered or not for either of those two rooms and what is ideal? I think our balconies on the jewel class ships have always been covered so this confuses me.

Also, will I see lifeboats when I look down for either of these cabins?

And what is a bump out?
