RCCL Mini Jeep Adventure and Beach Tour

Has anyone taken this tour? RCCLs website says you have to be 18, but I am thinking that's just for driving. The website also lists a price for children (same as adults) and says there is a 100-pound weight limit (again, I'm thinking that's for driving). When I was going to book this through the website, it said my kids did not meet the minimum requirements for this excursion. I called the Shore & Land Excursion Desk. The lady said we "should" be able to take the kids, but we should talk to the Shore Excursion Desk when we get on board. My question to her was if we book this tour and get off the ship, my kids wouldn't be even listed on a roster, so would they be allowed to go? Plus, neither of them weighs 100 pounds. My kids are 11 and 9 and are of normal height and weight.

 

So, my questions to the group are:

 

1. Has anyone done this with kids?

2. Do the kids have to weight 100 pounds to go?

Interested to hear from anyone that's done this tour via the ship excursions. Particularly celebrity. Are there any other stops apart from beach. Buggy website mentions cave and ostriches. ..
