Looking for good places to eat

Recommended Posts

Probably the finest dining street in Amsterdam is Utrechtsestraat. This is situated off Rembrandtplein in the Grachtengordel-Zuid (Southern Canal) area of the city. There are many restaurants on the street with different cuisines ranging from classic European to Indonesian and Thai. You could take a leisurely stroll down the length of Utrechtsestraat, this will take around 15-20 minutes, and have a gander at the various restaurants. Then choose one that you like the look of and that falls within your price bracket.

For lunch, I must mention Gartine on Taksteeg where I had the finest salad I have ever tasted. All the produce is grown in their own garden and freshly picked that day. I highly recommend it.
