Liberty of the Seas - 7 night Western Med - Just returned home

We have just returned home from our first ever RCI cruise and only our third cruise altogether. In brief, we had a fantastic time aboard the Liberty of the Seas and at the French and Italian ports of call. If anybody here has any questions, I would be happy to help out. As a wheelchair user I shall also be posting on the Disabled Cruise Travel Forum.

 

To all those of you are counting down to your own cruise, my wife and I are incredibly jealous and if friends or loved ones drop out at the last minute we can be ready to step in at very short notice. :) Enjoy!!

Hi Linda. I can see that you've been on the Liberty before so you already know what a great time you're going to have. It was fantastic. To answer your question, no we didn't dock at La Seyne Sur Mer, we docked at Toulon.

 

We took the optional Toulon Boat Service from the pier into the town at a cost of $16 per person. Because I use a wheelchair and we didn't know how far we would otherwise have to walk we thought it made sense for us, but we saw plenty of people walking too.
