Wyndam San Diego

I did a search, and didn't find anything, so if this is old news, I'm sorry. I was just in San Diego this week, and noticed that the Holiday Inn across from the cruise port is now a Wyndam Hotel.

We have it booked for a Panama Canal cruise in November. Hoping for the best!

It's not a bad place. Location is good for leaving on a cruise. Location is good for walking to stuff along the ocean. I stayed there 20 years ago when it was a HI and it was a typical HI. Unless they kept it up or Wyndham has remodeled it could be a little run down. There are many other hotels within walking distance to the port. We stayed at the Embassy Suites last cruise and several times since for land trips. It's walking distance. There is a huge parking lot right across from the port with long term parking so if you have a car I wouldn't limit myself to staying right downtown.
