Question about Princess tour to Pisa

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know if you book the Princess tour to Pisa if it is possible to get a ticket and climb up the tower on your own? This is not included in the tour price, but it seemed like their was "time on your own" on this tour. I really want to take my daughter to do this if possible.

Thanks

I was in Pisa about two weeks ago with a group of students. You can buy the tickets on your own, but they only let groups of 15 go up at a time. they give those about 20 minutes before they let the next group go up - the stair case is very narrow. Two of my students were afraid and could not make it to the top. Our group had a reservation for a specific time - you might have to wait if it was crowded or there are group reservations.

Hope this helps!
