Castaway Cay question

Snorkel yes, I saw several people carrying them off the ship. Not sure about the lifejacket if they have special requirements for ones in use for specific activities, they did not require lifejackets or similar at the beaches. If you do a snorkel activity, the price is the same regardless if you bring your own.

We've brought our own snorkel gear to Castaway Cay a few times. No charge to use the snorkel lagoon. If you don't have your own snorkel vest you will be required to wear one but you won't have to pay for it. Just go to the shack(s) where the snorkel gear is rented, tell them you brought your own gear but need a vest. They'll hand you the vest. No charge.

Have fun!

I would think it would be fine - maybe a little cool depending on the sun:

January-February Water: 72-77f/22-24c Air: 70-80f/21-27c

I didn't see any place to rent a wet suit, just tubes and bicycles (and maybe paddleboards?)

Is the water too cool for swimming in early January? Do they rent wet suits at Castaway Cay?
