Best Snorkelling? Nassau, St. Thomas or St. Maarten?

We are taking our first cruise in August and we want to snorkel at one of our ports of call.

 

Which has the best snorklelling Nassau, St. Thomas or St. Maarten?

I recommend snorkeling in St. John. Usually your ship will offer a shore excursion to St. John from St. Thomas.

Of the 3 choices, St Thomas is the best off of Coki Beach. I do agree though the best would be the underwater snorkel trail in St John at Trunk Bay. I felt it was worth the trip, either on your own via ferry or with an excursion. In Nassau there is no decent reef that I am aware of and in St Marteen you want a periscope on Orient Breach rather than a snorkel!
