Equinox 9266 - storage cupboard/noise problems?

I'm travelling with my step-mum on a short 7 night western Med cruise next July - ages away, sigh. I've continued researching staterooms after originally reserving 9292 then changing today to 9266 so we have a forward view - maybe not such a good idea. My husband and I had 1231 on Port side Deck 10 on Solstice earlier this year, and loved the position. However, I note there's a negative comment about a storage cupboard and associated noise affecting 9268 and, according to the writer, probably 9266. Has anyone had any personal experience of this? Also, opinion about aft-facing 9292 opposed to forward-facing 9266 will be appreciated. Thank you all!
