Anyone know of a free Wifi hotspot or cafe with Free Wifi in Costa Maya?

Take a cheap $3 taxi down to Mahahual. Go to the Tropicante, owned by a nice American called Steve. He offers free wi-fi here. You are welcome. You will have a wonderful time at the Tropicante as he is the #1 restaurant in Mahahual. It is advisable to reserve your loungers if you plan to stay on the beach. Send him an email and he will hold you loungers for free.

As for the free wi-fi the waiters will give you the password when you arrive. A lot of the cruise ship crew will use his facilities so you know it is good.

 

Steve and his staff can arrange anything you may want to do. He can arrange snorkeling for about $25 which I have done before. He offers the best massages on the beach which costs about $25 to $30 for one hour which is a lot cheaper than the ship.

Another spot to consider is Maya Luna - they have free wi-fi too. It's a small resort a bit further out of town but if you are looking for a quiet relaxing spot, this is it. Great food, great drinks without all of the crowds.
