Los Angeles as a port of call on B2B

Has anyone ever done excursions in LA as if it was a port of call on a B2B cruise? NCL, as far as I can tell, does not have promoted excursions.

 

I am looking for things I can do and get back to ship on time.

I was wondering the same Navyboy as we are also doing a B2B with NCL. We have been to LA before so we might just shop if nothing else looks interesting to do. I hope someone can enlighten us.

There is not much around the cruise port of Los Angeles. It is actually in San Pedro which is not near the touristy sights of Los Angeles & Hollywood. Right at the port is the USS IOWA and a close walk is Ports of Call with small shops & restaurants. The ships tend to leave fairly early, about 4, so there isn't much time there to go too far.
