Cessna140 Posted January 4, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2014 Hi We are in St Kitts for one day from 7am to only 3pm. Some in our group of six want to go to the Batik Store at Romney Manor and others want to go to Cockleshell Beach. So we would like to try to go to both. I have been to both places before and it seems to me that they are on opposite ends of the island. Does anyone know of a taxi driver we could hire to get us to both places in the same day? I had used a local driver on our last trip there but have misplaced his name. Does anyone familiar with the island think this is "do-able"? Thanks in advance, Nancy
paul58 Posted January 4, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 4, 2014 It would be very easy to do this. The island is only 69 sq miles in area. Tell your driver your plans and work out the details with them. It is about a 20-25 min drive to Romney Manor & Caribelle Boutique from the pier & from there to the beach(I would go to South Friars-closer by about 15 min than Cockleshell) would be about 35-40 min to Cockleshell.
