Celebrity Mercury port time changes

We very much want to do next summer's Alaskan cruise on the Mercury. I've read a few posts that said they shorten the port times without much notice. This would be a concern for us. Anyone been on the Mercury this season and had that happen ?

We were only in Mazatlan last year untill 2:00 pm. Not enough time to really go for an excursion and feel safe about getting back. We've been there a few times before so we just stayed on the ship. I would have been really disapointed if I hadn't been there before.

We went on the Mercury to Alaska in June of this year...not a single port time change...had enough time to do our excursions...had a great cruise. The staff was fantastic, the scenery was breathtaking, and the ship is in wonderful condition. I would book it again if only I could afford to. Nancy
