Bob100 Posted July 18, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 18, 2005 This being my first cruise, I was wondering what people do to keep their room key/money/miscellaneous items dry while engaging in water-related excursions? thanks!
mustangjoe Posted July 18, 2005 #2 Share Posted July 18, 2005 Like you, my dw & I wondered the same thing b/4 our first cruise this past March. We ended up getting water wallets on lanyards from L.L. Bean. They have room for your Sea Pass, a charge card and a little cash. I can't remember the cost, but they work very well. We wore ours when we were swimming with the dolphins in Cozumel and nor problems. How loads of fun.
dyanna72 Posted July 18, 2005 #3 Share Posted July 18, 2005 We just purchased our case at http://www.waterproofcases.net. Very nice & sturdy. Should work well. Many of these boards have ordered from this site before & were very happy with them. Dyanna
DEL67 Posted July 19, 2005 #4 Share Posted July 19, 2005 Based on a recomendation on these boards, I purchased an AquaPac "key" size wallet. It comes with a strap to hang it around your neck and is just big enough for a ship card, 2nd id (license), credit card and some cash. There sre bigger ones too. What I like best about it, is that it will not close if there is anything sticking out into the waterproof section which means it will not accidently leak. Like the previous poster, I bought it from http://www.waterproofcases.net.

scooter30 Posted July 22, 2005 #8 Share Posted July 22, 2005 My husband bought swim trunks at sears that had a little pocket in the back with an attached waterproof little pouch. It worked great. We kept a little cash license and sail and sign cards. Everything was perfectly safe and dry. I think they were Lands End I believe

sailor05 Posted July 28, 2005 #11 Share Posted July 28, 2005 I got ours at www.otterbox.com be sure to go to the bargain bin to look for them. I got 2 otterbox 1000's for around $6.25 each plus shipping which was like another $6.00 but still 2 very good quality water wallets for under $20.00 delivered...not bad.
