New Orlean's- Port Parking

I have a question regarding the port of New Orleans and boarding the Elation. I am debating on parking in the terminal garage vs. the Fulton garage. Any advice is greatly appreciated. We will be three women each traveling with a suitcase and a carry-on. How far is the walk to the ship and/or are there porters to help us with our luggage?

the fulton garage has a shuttle to take you to port and pick u up had to wait about 30 min for a shuttle to take us to port dont know if this is typical or not the shuttle was waiting when we returned to take us back could probably walk but its not easy with luggage not recommended there are porters to take your luggage if you use port parking you drop your luggage off then go park

The Carnival parking lot "is" a little more expensive but you drive into the garage, hand your luggage over to a porter (if you have checked luggage), park your car, go to the down elevator and when you step out of the elevator you are inside the terminal.
