Going on HAL for a Panama Canal cruise in a couple of weeks. Did some research on Zihuatanajo and it looks like Playa la Ropa might be a good place to spend the day. I cannot figure out how far it is from the ship, whether we can walk or grab a cab over there and whether that is something practical to do while we are there. Ship arrives at 8 am and leaves at 5 pm. Is anyone out there familiar with this place? Also, what should a cab for 4 people run?
