Greetings.....

I have booked a cruise for a mother/daughter getaway on the Sunshine and I booked one of the Inside Cloud 9 Spa staterooms.

Looking for any reviews, thoughts, and/or comments from anyone that has actually stayed in one of the inside cloud 9 rooms. If picking between oceanview and cloud 9.....which would you have chosen? Not too late for me to change.

We've been on inside spa cloud 9 on the dream. The stateroom is exactly the same as a regular interior except for color and decor. The amenities are well worth the up charge to me. We were in the thalassotherapy pool and thermal suites daily. (Or more than once.)

I stayed in an inside spa cabin on the breeze and loved it. On deck 12 I believe on the sunshine, the inside spa cabins are RIDICULOUSLY small. I came across a video on youtube...they are like 150 sq ft even though they are listed at 185. I would stay in a spa inside but not on that deck. The amenities are awesome.

I was just on the sunshine and we did a cabin crawl, so I got to see both cabins in question and talk to the people in them.

Inside spa rooms on sunshine are the same size as the regular inside rooms, but the configuration is better so easier to move around. The bathroom vanities were larger too. The spa room had fridge also. The ocean view I saw on sunshine was much bigger and it had a sofa, but no fridge. The decor was very softer tones in the spa room. The best thing about the spa rooms is the access to cloud nine. Another issue on sunshine is that the spa rooms are only accessible to two elevators, and for our whole cruise, only one of those worked. On days I went to serenity, I either waited a long, long, time, or used the stairs, I would not have been happy if I had a room on those floors, and there were a lot of unhappy people in that respect.

Now, my personal opinion is that I would stay in a sunshine inside spa any day over a regular inside room, providing the price was decent. But, if I sailed on her again, I would prefer an ocean view and pAy for a week access to the spa. unless there was a such a major huge difference in price, it didn't make sense. I just found the inside rooms on sunshine small for two and the elevator issue aggravating.

Hope it helps!
