On Board Weddings

My fiancée and I are planning to get married this fall. We were looking at getting married at sea. I read the fine print on the MSC website and it appears the "weddings" offered are symbolic only, not legally recognized.

Does anyone know if/how to get a legal wedding preformed on board.

Thanks!

How is this for a first post?

I can't imagine that you would be able to. You need to get a marriage license in your state. No biggie, just do a private ceremony and then the ship thing. In my state; you can marry "yourself." In other words, no officiant needed.
