Ft lauderdale hotel with shuttle to port

I'm looking for a hotel to stay at the night before the cruise that will provide a shuttle to the port in the am. Any recommendations?

Almost any hotel near the port, will offer shuttle service, but I don't know of any that include it in the price of the room, unless you get the cruise and snooze package, which may or may not be cheaper than getting the room as cheap as possible, then paying for the shuttle seperatly. The ones that I have used, charge $7.00 to $8.00, and that was both the Hyatt pier 66, and the Hyatt Place, and the Best Western in Oakland Park.

Unless you have some large group, a cab is the quickest and often the most cost efficient way to the port. Some hotels near the airport offer a complimentary ride, but then you are stuck at the airport and not being able to enjoy the city.

The hotels downtown that charge for the shuttle ride will cost 7-$8 a person, leaving on their schedule and stopping at more than your ship. A cab ride will run about $12-15 for the whole ride, not per person. SUV cabs are available for the same rate. Don't limit where you stay on the shuttle thing.

eandj has it right. Take a cab

 

We recently stayed at the Hilton Marina and the cab fare was $7.80+tip. Shuttle was $6pp. We were at the curb with luggage in hand in 9 minutes from the time we walked out the hotel door.
