Laundry Question

Sailing on the Pride with kids at the end of March and wanted to know-- do the washers and dryers run on quarters or do you swipe your sign and sail card?

Pretty sure it's quarters and I think you can get quarters at guest services.

On Freedom and Legend we swiped our S&S card.

Carnival Pride laundry rooms take quarters only (unless they have recently upgraded). One can always get quarters from guest services or the casino. There is usually a change machine next to the quarters game in the casino as well. Do not get them from the arcade. Colonel Angus learned that lesson the hard way.

As of August 2013, the Pride takes quarters. You can run down to guest services and get them. I usually take a roll with me.

Laundry Soap (powder), fabric softener sheets: $1.00 each.

 

I've seen: All, Tide, Sun Surf, and Snuggle offered. A lot of people swear by the 3-in-1 sheets or the pods. The dryers aren't fantastic and normally have to go through the cycle twice because the clothes will still be really damp after the first cycle of an hour.
