cassamanda Posted March 5, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 5, 2014 Showed a few people on Queen Victoria our beautiful Sydney today. They absolutely loved it. Well at least until the storm rolled in.:) One comment from a well travelled lady was, "i thought Rio was the most beautiful city, but today i have changed my mind. Sydney must be the most beautiful city in the world. The people are so friendly and the city is so clean." Similar comments from others as well. They also included comments that Australia is considered by many to still be a largely unknown quantity. They are then so pleasantly surprised by what they see. Others mentioned that they were disappointed that the ship was only here 1 day whereas Elizabeth was here for the weekend. Have to agree. We are just so lucky to live in this great country. orangestreet Posted March 6, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 6, 2014 (edited) I was told by somebody I once met in Goa, India that they thought Sydney was one of the prettiest cities in the world along with Rio. As a Canberran, who visits Sydney on holidays, it never fails to amaze me with her sheer beauty. Jaw droppingly beautiful.
