Is anyone going to be on the Island Princess in Dec.?

We are trying to decide whether to take the Island Princess cruise to Hawaii Dec. 7. Is anyone else planning to travel on this sailing? Does anyone else have any feedback on this ship and itinerary?

We were on the Island Princess in January. The itinerary is wonderful! What could be better than going to 4 tropical islands combined with several sea days to relax and unwind, before and after touring the islands? The ship is spic-n-span, the food and services are above average. The Las Vegas/style shows were excellent, but the other entertainment was just

so-so...depends on what you like.

 

Right from the begining of the cruise,we requested 2 FOD gatherings and they were granted, by Tim, an assistant CD. On his own, he scheduled 3 more FOD meetings (I think Tim is a brother).

 

If you search the archives of Cruise Critic, you will find a wealth of information on both the str8 and gay boards.

We're booked for the Island P on the Oct 8th sailing to the islands. Can't wait to get back to Hawaii. We were on the ill fated trip of the Sun Princes a couple years to the islands that got cancelled due to norwalk sickness. Hopefully this trip will be better. Cheers Ed
