Obc...

So, the on board credit isn't usable until the second day?! Is this true? :(

It just doesn't show up until the second or third day. You can charge to your account, and then at the end of the cruise the OBC is against your charges. In other words, you don't immediately need the OBC on your account in order to charge things that will ultimately use the OBC.

Not usually. It may not show up on your account until the second day but if you have OBC that was given to you, you can use it as soon as you are on the ship. Basically if it does not show on boarding day anything you purchase that day goes on your account and as soon as the OBC shows your previous days purchases will be charged to the OBC.

 

Any way you look at it if you spend onboard the OBC will be used up before the end of the cruise. For examaple if you spend $500 on the ship and you have $100 OBC at the end of your cruise your account should show that you were charged $400 with the OBC covering the other $100.
