Triumph January 2016 11 Day sailing

Did you guys see these sailings? I really like the one on January 16, and it's right after I graduate college. I really want this as a present, but when I looked, there was an $800 deposit. DH says no way that's too much to pay right now. Does anyone know if there are any groups planned for this, or anyone interested if maybe I planned it?? Looking for the reduced deposit in a bad way because I think if I could get that DH would be on board with it!!!

Cruise-To-Nowhere - $50 USD (non-refundable)

2 & 3 day - $100 USD

4 day - $150 USD

5 day - $200 USD

6 & 7 days - $250 USD

8 & 9 day - $300 USD

Alaska - $350 USD

10 Day or longer - $400 USD

Panama Canal cruises - $500 USD

Yes, total fare is $1800ish, and it says it requires an $800 deposit. I've always paid $500.

The amount of the deposit varies with the cruise length. 7 day cruises are $250 per person and 8 day cruises are $300 per person. I am not sure where the break point is for $400 per person, but I am not surprised it is that much for an 11 day.

Booked this cruise March 28th and yes the deposit was $400 each for hubby and I. If that wasn't bad enough we also booked a family cruise the same day for August 2015. Thank goodness the deposit for those booking were less.
