patches05 Posted August 4, 2005 #2 Share Posted August 4, 2005 My DH and I are in our late 20's/early 30's and took our honeymoon on the Golden last month and it was wonderful! There was a wide range of ages on the ship and it was fine. Enjoy your trip!!! :)
calikak Posted August 4, 2005 #3 Share Posted August 4, 2005 It really depends on the ship and itinerary. We're in our late 20s and have only sailed in cool-weather climates so far (Europe, Alaska) and we don't find many people in our age group. Most people on the ship are closer to my parents' age, or older. We still meet really interesting people, like a lovely Australian couple we met on our last Alaska cruise whose kids were our age. I hear things are very different in the Caribbean, that age-wise it's a lot more diverse.
Baxter Posted August 4, 2005 #4 Share Posted August 4, 2005 We have only sailed in warm-weather climates, but have found young couples to be few and far between. We generally have been seated with people 50+ for dinner (which we have enjoyed immensely), and it seems that younger couples are either travelling with a group of people or are enjoying a family vacation.
