jrljel Posted May 28, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 28, 2014 So we are having a fun day (YES, VERY short notice) this Friday, 5/30, and I am in charge of having "THE QUEST" for the kids (middle schoolers) but of course, not THE Quest Adult one. I can use some of the items from the original game modified, but does anyone out there have any ideas or know what was on the Family version of the Quest. HELP PLEASE! We want this to be fun and FUNNY for the kids but also appropriate. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!
jrljel Posted May 28, 2014 Author #2 Share Posted May 28, 2014 Oh, c'mon people! Many of you must have SOME ideas please! So far I have the following: Two socks with holes in them A watch set to 3:05 (the time they get out of school) Five people singing the national anthem up to the word "gleaming" Four shoelaces out of the shoe tied together Team leaders carrying a golf ball on a spoon without the ball dropping Your entire team arranged tall to short Team leaders must get pick index card numbers 1-7 from a pile, bring it back to their team, then have seven students each hold one index card in the correct order to form a sentence (the backs of the cards will each have a word on them) Each team must put together puzzle pieces to form a picture of a teacher Two guys locking arms back to back and walking to the center Four girls skipping to the center A picture of Thomas Jefferson Any other suggestions???? Calker Posted May 28, 2014 #3 Share Posted May 28, 2014 a sock with a hole in it - this was funny as people tried biting their socks to make holes - there already is a hole - where your foot enters one that seemed to stump the crowd - "bring me a picture of the White House" our team got the point because I gave our captain a $20 bill - the White House is on the back I'm at work - if I think of others I'll post later
chadbeck Posted May 28, 2014 #4 Share Posted May 28, 2014 Is this going to be for just one class or the entire school? What room will they be doing this in? Those two things may help think of "Quests" you can do.

jrljel Posted May 29, 2014 Author #6 Share Posted May 29, 2014 Thanks everyone. I finally got the list made and we're going with that. The last item on the list is that part of the team must be the solar system, labeling themselves correctly and spinning around the sun. Should be hilarious! I have more too if anyone's interested and I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow. 350 kids; 24 teams; should be interesting to say the least! jrljel Posted May 30, 2014 Author #8 Share Posted May 30, 2014 Thanks but we have to be able to check these QUICKLY, so I am using the arrange yourselves from tall to short. Also having them arrange in an equilateral triangle as well as the solar system!! Should be a blast. Let's hope the kids get into it as much as I hope they will.
