Euros or US dollars or Xpf?

I have some leftover Euros from a trip to Europe and was wondering if they would be widely excepted in French Polynesia? Going to bring some US dollars and of course credit cards!

 

Seem to remember from my last trip that in Carrefour store in Papeete they had prices in euros and xpf?

You will have no problems spending them ..

If you need to get XPF you will get a much better rate with your euros.

Yes, you can pay with both and in most stores also with USD.
