Question. Do you guys go to the friends of Dorothy and if so how do you spot others. The times I have gone to them I never seem to know who is there for FOD. Looking forward to meet others.

I always go to the FOD meetings, at least the very first few nights on ship. I can't say much for Carnival, since this is only my second cruise with the line and on the Paradise last year, I was the only FOD who showed up, but on NCL, Celebrity, and Royal Caribbean, the events were popular and you could normally tell who was part of the group.

 

So, if there's a large FOD on this sailing, it should be apparent who is part of it. If not then, I say, just strike up conversation with whoever is present at the bar. You should have an idea soon there-after. If it turns out that person isn't part of the group, well at least you were social and that's part of the fun in cruising.
