Coral Garden/Sting Ray Sandbar excursion

I was looking at doing this excursion on Carnival. Does anyone know how the snorkeling is here?

Last time I went to coral gardens it was pretty decent. That was about 3 years ago, though. It was much better than the barrier reef which we did prior to the Stingrays (everything is all in a very close proximity). The Coral Gardens area was much calmer water that day, though so I don't know if that made a difference. It's nice. Pretty decent. Nice snorkeling area for beginners I'm thinking.

We loved it! The tour guide was great and everyone got ample time to interact with the rays. Our day had bad weather during the snorkeling, but it was still a lot of fun.
