MMfan14 Posted July 19, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 19, 2014 Has anyone ever received OBC credit after booking a cruise 12 months before it sails? Booked back in November 2013 for upcoming cruise in November 2014. Rates have gone up $140.00 since booking. We did not use a Disney Visa card or go thru Disney Cruise but a TA. Cruise was paid off months ago. Just curious.

If your saying that as the price has gone up will your OBC Go up in line with the cruise price increase no it is set on the day it was booked. MMfan14 Posted July 19, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted July 19, 2014 What I meant was, what are my chances that rates are going to drop below what I paid before sail date.

MMfan14 Posted July 19, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted July 19, 2014 Have been keeping an eye out, noticed that the first week in November dropped. Was the same price as our week and same itinerary. Can keep our fingers crossed!
moki'smommy Posted July 19, 2014 #6 Share Posted July 19, 2014 Absoluely, keep checking. We use an agent who computer tracks all their bookings, and have occasionally gotten a small refund. If the rate drops before the penalty date AND you request it, they will refund the difference to whatever method you used to pay. If you don't ask, they don't give the refund automatically.
